Helping You Create Digital Materials with Confidence

You work hard to create websites, emails, presentations, event materials, and other digital materials that represent your business well.

But after reading, editing, and checking everything multiple times, it's still easy to wonder...

  • Did I miss something?

  • Is anything confusing?

  • Will people know what to do next?

  • Could something unintentionally make it harder for someone to participate?

That's where I come in.

As an IT professional with more than 20 years of experience—and over a decade testing websites and digital materials from a user's perspective, I notice details others often miss.

I serve as your independent second set of eyes, reviewing your digital materials before your audience sees them.

Every review looks beyond spelling and grammar to identify issues that affect:

  • Accuracy

  • Clarity

  • User Experience

  • Accessibility

  • Confidence

The result?

You can stop second-guessing your work and confidently share digital materials that are easier for more people to read, understand, navigate, and engage with.

My Story

My journey began with technology.

For more than two decades, I've worked in the pharmaceutical industry, spending the last 13 years testing web-based applications used in clinical research. My role has always been to look at digital experiences from the user's perspective—finding problems before they reach the people they're meant to serve.

Over time, I became known for translating between technical teams and everyday users, helping developers understand how real people experience the systems they build.

Then my perspective changed.

After experiencing multiple concussions and living with several non-visible disabilities, I began noticing barriers that I'd never seen before.

Information that was only spoken became difficult to process.

Certain color combinations became hard to read.

Flashing graphics became debilitating.

Websites and presentations that once felt effortless to read suddenly required far more energy and concentration.

Those experiences taught me something I now share with every client:

Think about a time when something was harder to do because of your circumstances, not because you lacked the ability.

That's what barriers often feel like.

Most businesses never intend to create them.

They simply don't realize they're there.

Today, I combine my technical background, testing experience, and lived perspective to help entrepreneurs identify those hidden barriers before their audience encounters them.

Why I Created Ripples of Access

The name Ripples of Access reflects something I believe deeply.

Meaningful change rarely starts with one massive transformation.

It starts with one small improvement.

Clarifying a button.

Fixing a confusing instruction.

Improving a heading.

Adding captions.

Making a form easier to complete.

Providing information in a way that's easier to understand.

Each small improvement creates a ripple.

One person has a better experience.

That better experience reaches more people.

Those people engage more confidently.

And those ripples continue long after the work is finished.

Because one small change really can start the Ripples of Access.
